Very clean. Polite and responsive staff. Parking is very tight (the front office had to call another guest to move his car so I could get in mine. You can hear a lot in the rooms around you and some street noise. Great location for Stanford appointments.
Stayed here for 2 nights while moving son out of Stanford dorms. Sophia at front desk was very helpful; rooms where clean, spacious and modern; great desk for doing work; breakfast just right (bagels, croissants, pastries, hot oatmeal, yogurt with toppings, fresh fruit). Small workout area upstairs with bottled water. Lobby has fresh water and coffee/latte/hot chocolate machine and teas. Great location. Highly recommend!!!
Cute little motel like, hotel. Good area, felt safe. Lots of restaurants around. Service was exceptional and felt welcomed. It felt "Home-y" in a sense. I would definitely book again if I need to stay out in this area, can't beat the price compared to other hotels. Rooms are a tad bit outdated but furniture is up to par. They also offer breakfast, but I unfortunately did not make it.
The Menlo Park Inn offers clean and comfortable, average rooms. While the breakfast selection was limited and the croissants were a bit stale, the in-room pod coffee makers and the cappuccino machine in the office were welcome amenities. It's a great location to see shows at the guild theater.
Stated here for the third time in the past year and we really like staying at Menlo Park Inn. Prices are great, location is wonderful but while I don't typically leave reviews we had such good service I felt compelled. Had a little problem with our reservation and at check-in Roxanne went above and beyond and made everything perfect. Really want to thank Menlo Park Inn and especially Roxanne for her superior service and really caring that our stay here was enjoyable. THANKS Roxanne! Darin & Sandra
Definitely a great value. The breakfast is basic but good. The rooms are nice/clean but need some updating. Staff is always amazing at the front desk. This is the only hotel near Stanford for under $200 that I have re-booked. When you have to travel biweekly for your child, this is a great option!
Way nicer than I expected. Bill checked me in. Very cordial. I had just checked out of the Crowne Plaza near SFO. Bill could teach them a thing or two about hospitality. The room was very nice. Spotless and new looking. Very quiet, couldn't hear traffic and I was near the front. Keurig coffee maker, microwave and a fridge. That's livin'.. For those that don't know the area, this is a few short blocks to multiple restaurants, drug store, Trader Joe's. Train station's about a five minute walk. By the way, be sure to get a deluxe room or whatever they call it. They're why nicer than the basic rooms.
For the area, this motel is great value for money. Extremely well maintained, clean, responsive customer service, a decent breakfast and very centrally located.
